Sustainability is one of DAK Americas' core values. But recognizing its importance is only a first step. DAK has in place a clear and comprehensive program to make sustainability a part of all we do—from beginning to end, and in our facilities, communities, and in the world around us.

We believe that with leadership comes responsibility. A duty to apply our knowledge and experience toward the development of products that are environmentally friendly; maximize the reduction and re-use of internally generated waste; and generate greater awareness of the need for sustainability among our employees, customers, and the communities in which we live and work.

Clear Path Recyling
Clear Path Recycling, LLC is a joint venture between Shaw Industries Group, Inc and DAK Americas, LLC. The company was created to recycle post-consumer PET bottles to produce Recycled PET (RPET) Flake. This Recycling venture saves more than 160 Million lbs of waste PET Bottles from going into landfills annually.
